Announcing a new event for The Austin Physics Meetup Group!

What: The Austin Physics November Meetup

When: Thursday, November 15, 7:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Agenda/Discussion topic: Cosmology

At the August meetup, Dr. Collins said that he would be interested in hearing everyone's thoughts about cosmology. So this month, everyone that would like to present their views on cosmology will have a chance to give a short synopsis of their personal views. Everyone is not required to do so, however. So, for example, if we have 12 people show up, we can divide the two hours into 10 minute chunks, maybe 5 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for questions and answers. If only 6 people want to present, then the time would be doubled.

Meeting place:

A conference room within a branch of the Austin Public Library:
Hampton Branch at Oak Hill
5125 Convict Hill Rd. Austin, Texas 78749
(512) 892-6680

If you are driving to the library along MoPac, then exit MoPac at William Cannon. You can figure out the remaining portion yourself. :-)
