These meetups are aimed at exploring what Seattle has to offer in the world of physics - we'll typically meet once a month for an event, either to chat about current affairs or to talk about the event. During the year we'll visit many of the venues open to the public, so that means:

--Townhall
--Universities (Open days, lectures)
--Colleges
--PacSci
--Museum (e.g. Museum of flight)
--Some of the more interesting venues...

If it is a talk then we'll typically meet up just
before for a short chat, make introductions, then maybe meeting also afterwards. Similarly for exhibits, we'll meet, chat and wander, maybe converging afterwards for a meal/ coffee.

We encourage a broad participation - some of us are professional physicists, others will be new to all of this.

Supersymmetry is definitely an odd feature of the universe. Hopefully, it will be proven relatively soon. Astrophysics is definitely my top interest.
