The goal of the Kennett Area Time Bank is to help each other and to build community among people representing all possible types of diversity. The original idea for the group sprang from the rich local practice of an Amish barn-raising, when neighbors join each other to help one family build a barn. Later it is someone else’s turn. The Time Bank has evolved to help with anything a person needs, not only with a physical project.
